A taste of the journey.

Four days of coastal roads, local flavour and time at Africa’s southernmost tip. This sample itinerary gives you a feel for the route; we’ll confirm the details around your dates, the season and the tides.

Day 1 – Coastal Drive South
Morning: Depart Cape Town along the whale coast, stopping at scenic viewpoints along False Bay and the Overberg coastline.
Midday: Lunch in the charming fishing village of Arniston, famous for its whitewashed cottages and calm bay.
Evening: Arrive in Cape Agulhas, check into your guesthouse, and enjoy a welcome dinner featuring fresh local seafood.
Day 2 – Southernmost Point
Morning: Visit the historic Cape Agulhas Lighthouse and climb to the top for sweeping ocean views.
Midday: Stand at the official marker where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Walk the boardwalk to the wreck of the Meisho Maru No. 38, a haunting reminder of the coast’s shipwreck history.
Afternoon: Enjoy an authentic seafood lunch at the local Vishokke (fish shacks) while watching the fishing boats return to harbour.
Evening: Sundowners on the beach followed by dinner at a local bistro.
Day 3 – Fishing Village Life
Morning: Guided walking tour of Kassiesbaai, a heritage fishing community with centuries-old traditions.
Midday: Visit the Waenhuiskrans Cave (tide-dependent) with its cathedral-like interior carved by the ocean.
Evening: Return to your accommodation for a relaxed dinner or optional stargazing.
Day 4 – Return Journey
Morning: Scenic drive back towards Cape Town, stopping at farm stalls and viewpoints.
Midday: Wine tasting in the Elgin Valley, known for its cool-climate vintages.
Afternoon: Arrive back in Cape Town with memories of the southernmost edge of Africa.
